About the Role
We're looking for a Product Designer to work on Injective's web products and dApps. This is an opportunity to work hands-on in DeFi, map out creative solutions, and collaborate with leadership to help shape Injective's products.
Responsibilities
- Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches.
- Build a strong design practice, influence product strategy, and impact product execution and quality.
- Partner closely with engineering, product, and business teams to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges.
- Listen to user feedback and incorporate insights into product design strategy and solutions.
- Develop and maintain product design systems.
- Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail and when to use low-fidelity sketches and prototypes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a UI/UX design role. Experience at a consumer fintech company is preferred.
- Excellent Figma skills.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or After Effects is a plus.
- Proven experience building consumer-facing mobile and web products.
- Experience developing wireframes and prototypes.
- Experience developing and maintaining design systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively within an energetic, cross-functional team.
- Ability to receive feedback efficiently and push back when necessary.
- Proven ability to lead product design discovery and manage the end-to-end design process, from initial concept through final delivery.
- Strong information design experience with a solid foundation in UX design principles.
- Deep knowledge and applied experience in graphic design, including layout, typography, and color.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong attention to craft and detail.
- Passion for building and creating in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Based in North, South, or Central America or within European time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in the crypto space.
- Previous experience working at a centralized or decentralized exchange (CEX or DEX).
