Overview:
We are targeting a strong A/P professional who can help support the full life cycle A/P process, while partnering closely with vendors and supporting team process improvements. Responsibilities:
Receive, review, and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies Verify invoice accuracy, proper approvals, and coding to the correct general ledger accounts Resolve discrepancies with vendors and address outstanding issues promptly Preparation and execution of weekly payment runs across multiple entities and in multiple currencies Maintain vendor records, including W-9’s, banking details and contact information Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient invoice approval workflows Assist with month-end closing tasks, including AP aging reports and accruals Maintain accurate digital filing and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot table preferred), Microsoft Word, and Outlook Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, accruals) Knowledge of AP workflows Ability to handle high-volume invoicing in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy with confidential information Experience with Great Plains Preferred Benefits:
